That sounds like occasion for people to praise you forever for it. There's wallworm toolset for 3DSMax, but… eh.

Quick Update:
Github Updates will update the project, so minor bug fixes are always happening, without them being posted here. Otherwise I just finished learning how to do some fancy maths that will enable me to finish up the terrain system, meaning... DISPLACEMENTS! You can expect a tool for displacement mapping in the next week. After that its on to skybox wrapping and lighting

I also working on a model import system for cpp/opengl, this way a desktop version of the tool will be able to fully preview and texture levels or models

The prototype code for displacements is available for download via github, when its a bit more cleaned up I'll post an update here and host it online!

I still don't undertstand what this is
It's a way of designing source levels, built into your browser, that can be exported as a vmf for touching up in hammer, or compiled as-is. The point is to offload a lot of the tedious geometry management in Hammer to the computer.

Now with:
  • Working (non-optimized) quadrangulation and displacement creation
  • Skybox Wrapping
I am curious if anyone can tell me why the level's portal file has that large amount of regions in the area shown, I would like to have outputted level's optimized for vvis as well.

Otherwise, I'll be working on a terrain editor for displacements next. After that the update will be released.

THE GREAT MERGE HAPPENED!
Displacements are now available to play with, expect bugs for now, feel free to send me pictures/save files with issues so I can fix them. Otherwise, the level also supports spiral stair cases as per _Rf_'s method now used on Dust 2.
