I don't think people ever quite figured out what exactly it was meant to be for, for one thing. At first it was a "Hey here's a single thing I found" thread, and you know how quickly those usually die.

I had considered making a general MLP thread here about a week before season two started, since I knew this forum had a decent contingent of fans and MLP general threads on other forums' off-topic boards have thrived pretty well, but then I swplbsl.
