End of the world school assignment

Hey,

Doing a project for school - if you were watching an end of the world movie would you want to see:

- they all make it and life returns to normal, or;
- the new reality IS the new normal and life continues, or;
- they all die, or;
- they find a secret Nazi subase left over from WWII in Antarctica and some UFO's to take them to an old abandoned base on the dark dise of the moon!

It's a real, serious question I have going here - cna you state which of the above you would like to see and why you chose it?

I need it for a writing assignment but am unsure which way to go with it.

In my opinion, each has its advantage:

-Normal life: with humanity reduced, you are able to say that it was all a plan of the world government (be sure to set this in either a parallel universe or the future) to stabilish and stop world hunger.
-New reality = Normal life: You can set this in a zombie-like apocalypse, preety similar to Left 4 Dead or The Walking Dead, with the people fighting to survive.
-Everybody dies: It opens more space to epic catastrophe scenes. And they're badass.
-Secret Nazi Subase: This actually sounds a plot for a continuation of Wolfenstein.

I'd guess a mix of the third one with the second one; a majority of the population dies but the survivors rebuild.

The "people live on normally" option is always the most realistic. Really at the end of the day they'll adapt to anything they can survive. As long as sex and food are available and safe they'll deal with it... and not have learnt anything from the event and go on to repeat all their mistakes.

Well, yeah, but you have the question of what does "the world" mean? Unless the entire thing is actually averted in the first place, most movies can qualify as having ended the world in some definition.

Yep - The Doc knows his stuff Puzzle - that movie was already done way back in the 1960's or early 1970's. The movie starts off with the guy being on trial for Adultry - the charges were brought against him by his wife - 269+ counts and other stuff. LOL
