    ctf_sentry_city - More sentries than you shake an sapper at!

    Sentries!

    I usually put everything in the bsp but this time I thought it'll be more easier just to do it this way.

    There is one known exploit that I know of and this will be fixed in the next release.
    The nuke button can be spammed.

    I noticed your download is just a zip containing of your unpacked .bsp and all your custom stuff. You need to pack them all into the .bsp instead using something like VIDE. Here's a tutorial.
    I loaded up your map too and I don't really have much to say other than it's fundamentally broken. There's misaligned brushes, microscopic cracks, unclipped stairs, huge open spaces, no symmetry, and the sentries shoot at and destroy each other. This might be ok as a fun gmod map, but it's got a long way to go before it could work in TF2.

    I already know about VIDE. Did you read the description at all??

    They are supposed to. Why do you think the map is called "ctf_sentry_city"??

    re: missaligned brushes

    Do you know how hard it is to align brushes??? I find it hard.. but I'm trying my best to do that! Give me some breathing space for Celestia's sake!

    Then why didn't you use it? It may be easier for you to not pack, yes, but it makes it annoying for everyone else. Nobody wants to install an unpacked map!

    Well, they just kill each other instead of players...

    Use the grid. Shift+W toggles grid snapping.

    It's not a flank. You're supposed to pack thing. How would server owners use the map?

    They do kill players as well.

    The trains that carry the sentries leave the tunnel at random times. Sometimes the red and blue sentry trains meet each other.

    They do kill players as well. If they cross the rails during the said train carrying sentries is coming down the rails.

    How do I know that??

    I TEST THE MAP!!

    The next version will be packed. I wanted somepony to test it... geeezzz

    I sense some level of rudeness in your posts

    It may be easier for you, but people don't want to browse their tf folder to install custom content every time they download a new map. That's why VIDE exists, to pack extra assets in your map so people get it as soon as they load the map.

    I'm just trying to save you some frustration later. EVERYONE will tell you to pack your map, because they can't test it on a server without tediously installing everything when you should have packed your map in the first place. "Testing" by running around in singleplayer will only tell you so much (and I told you the glaring issues I found already), but it will be pretty much impossible to test on a server in its current state.

    I'm now fixing the leaks and going to repack the bsp. Thanks for the screenshot and the helpful feedback.

    Just so you know, when you compile your map, the compiler will throw an error if it detects a leak. It'll look something like this:

    Other symptoms of a leak that are noticeable in game include Light_spots not casting any light at all light out side of their cones and the entire map rendering at once (This can be checked with the commands sv_cheats and mat_wireframe 1)
