Thanks dude, yeah that's the problem with the sheer size of a three stage map. I hadn't appreciated until now but there's a whole lot of detailing to be done. That said I'm determined to make this the first map that I fully finish so I'll keep plugging away.

That said I could just release and be damned. :p
I'll see how I feel tomorrow...

EDIT: How do I make breakable cables again? I set them to be breakable under their properties but it just ain't happening. Im confus.

FYI breakale cables don't reset on new round. I had this problem with my artpass and there is currently no fix from Valve. You'll need to do with with a model.

Did you try copypasting from the construction vignette? One of the private .vmf's had breakable tape.

OK so I decided to completely remove the rockwall from one side of stage one. Not really sure why I erected it in the first place.

Anyway, stage one out of bounds areas look more like this now:

Also I did an edit job on the rockwall texture that I was using:

new_rockwallz.jpg


Note to self: ask Void if this is OK in the texture thread before release.
