    @GooGuGajoob As you can see, uploading your map creates a thread in the Map Factory subforum. You can delete the other thread to consolidate feedback here.

    Looks like an interesting alpha. Do you have other Source experience? I'm looking forward to this in gameday!

    I've probably been mapping for like...6 years I think. Off and on, lots of motivation issues.

    I was one of the mappers for the map cp_ironside, and that map might come around now I've finished a build for this one.
    I also have a really old first map called arena_volcano (sunk 4 years into that), tried cp_multitask. Yeah...

    It's been a long time since A1 and A2, mainly because of procrastination and no real urge to have to rush the next thing, but I've been slowly completing the next alpha and I do feel fairly confident about this 5CP map.

    I guess have fun with it, and let me know what you think!

    P.S. Will post updates and fixes if requested, though I figure no one will really recall this map anyway so I don't understand why it would be relevant with months gap between builds...

    5CP Jenkins is my first 5CP map. A3 is a big fix upon A2 (...hopefully...)

    Fixes:
    - Redesigned area between Mid and CP2
    - Redesigned surrounding area of CP2 (added flank)
    - Lengthened areas
    - Ammo & Health Packs tweaked and re-positioned
    - God known what else...

    Now to get real:

    I believe this 5CP map has potential. I am aiming for something competitive worthy, though I do know that that's a harder goal to achieve based upon the fact cp_jenkins runs on a straight design rather than the more layout savy S shape.

    Secondly, I know A3 is way too short distanced. I need to lengthen mid, mid-area to CP 2, CP2, and the final area of Final CP. However, this is alpha and I believe this build is worth showing off in a playable form.

    Finally, feel free to present interest in helping with this map. I'm not really invested in making a 5CP alone, as I find more interest in pursuing arena_volcano. As you can probably gather from the hugely spaced update of cp_jenkins (months apart), you can kick me up the ass if you so wish me to see this map through.

    I do indeed think you have something special here man. Played this during today's Imp and had tons of fun, for an alpha map it really looks and plays great.

    There's a bug at the 2nd/4th point areas where the door won't open leaving players stuck in the spawn, I'd get a screenshot of it but you probably already know of it as you were on the server at the time.

    If there's any objections, I've been told many a time that 5CP Jenkins is ready for beta.

    My main focus at the moment is finding ways to disrupt sentry spots (sentries did choke up the map).
    If you have any valuable feedback or screenies about anything, please send them my way and it'd be much appreciated because I'm not too sure what else to alter other than maybe push the final CP back by 128 units and making the front of the building entrance to Mid not one long wall as it is currently (scary though, might not change due to how I've spaced the map).

    I'm also just paranoid it's too early only having reached A3, but I do too feel the layout and design is very settled.

    I think one more alpha build won't hurt. Very slight changes, lengthening areas by 128 units to counter sentry spots, etc.
