I'm creating a TF2 map using the citadel textures from HL2 (those pre-installed in TF2).
Should I pack all texture-vpk files or do I have to extract them?
Is it neccessary they should be packed?
Mann vs Machine maps are a bit of a hassle to get uploaded. You need several files included in your download for others to play them, and if any of your waves use custom icons, those need to be included as well. Luckily though, we can just pack those icons in, reducing clutter in your download...
im in small trouble because im new in packing and i will pack my map by using pakrat. how i know pakrat may corrupt the map file when it gonna be multiply rewriten or uncorrectly saved.

After compiling, packing it with VIDE and testing it with sv_pure 2 the audio on the map was gone (I released the map anyway)
The audio is based on point_clientcommand as suggested by the community...
By that I mean how do I make them so that, when someone else loads the map, they get no missing models/textures, etc.
