well you have set yourself up, you now have two options, to make a flop of the project as most people expect ( understandly) or release something that is worthy of being "super secret". :p

i guess in this case any attention is good attention ;)

hey TPG, sounds like an interesting map, although like ppl said, more info ftw :D

on another note, getting inspiration from other maps sounds totaly fine to me.

edit: oh btw, ur 3rd time lucky, its my 3rd post hah :D

(Hee hee - I can't resist using them either ;))

We all have a few false starts (anyone remember Stormy Bluff? No you don't, because it is dead since I realized that I over-scaled it horrendously and never released an alpha), so don't worry. Good luck to you, now that this thread has become a hot-spot and potential flame-zone. :rolleyes:

Heh, seriously though - I like what I assume I am hearing from your proposal, here. Can't wait to see alpha1!

I think as a guideline it would be sensible to provide ingame screenshots. I've had a habit myself of providing Hammer shots because i went through so many changes during development i wanted people to know what was going on between available playtests.

But all people really wanted was A) ingame shots and B) the oppotunity to test said map regardless of progress.

That image confuses me... I can't see any walls, or are they 1 unit thick?!
And from what I gather there seems to be a lot of tunnels and even more doors :U
