IMO we need an Australian gameday. 300 ping is not fun when playing.

Might be helpful to show up what time this is for the major time zones. People probably just assume it'll be wednesday evening for them w/e.

"fairness" has nothing to do with this. We have two servers so people get a chance to play with a decent ping. I am completely willing to try a different time that is more suitable to that server's continent. If that means someone won't be able to make that event, tough. Can't please everyone, and we have enough people each bother continents to fill the server.

As Mashpotatoe said, perhaps you should consider a time like what was used for the Contest Gameday. It worked out great for us Australians. Wednesday is extra good for me because I get to come home early from school
Though this would be bad for Europeans, they still have the other gameday to test their map

That's true, but they really shouldn't be assuming that... since Friday is also a weekday and we run those at the same times as the weekend. Also, times can be changed later.
