Notice that, from the trailer, its day time. Huge departure from the current game.
you know how rediculous that claim is??
There goes Youme with that ridiculous ego again (he gets all the girls...). :blushing:
I think part of it is the feeling that the game has been out about 7 months now and we're already looking at a sequel that, while it does seem to include a fair amount of new content, is hardly a 'new' game. Sure, maps, weapons, models, and dialogue are nice, but the core of the game is pretty much the same (with some tweaks to the AI director or witch, etc).
Now think about Ep. 3. If, within a year of releasing one game they can release another that is essentially the same, why not apply that logic to Ep. 3? Ep 2 came out in 2007, so so long as there are not substaintial revisions to the engine/features (like Ep. 2 compared to prior), new models and maps shouldn't take that long. Now you may cite gameplay, but Ep. 1 takes about 1-2 hours to play through, and Ep. 2 not much longer.
Basically: New game = long time, rehashed game with a pretty bow = L4D2.
