Btw, is anyone else horrified and disgusted by the clipping job (or lack thereof) on cp_junction? It's almost impossible to move between areas without being snagged on something. Plus it's just WAY too compact.

ditto! I noticed that right off when I went to check it out... it's made my most hated spot and I haven't even had a match on it yet.

Yeah, junction has a few conduits and junctions that still has Vphysics enabled.
Some awkward ceiling playerclips aswell, it's impossible to rockerjump.

I saw this and a branding iron...have they always been there?

The nail gun has always been there. FYI, in TFC both the Scout and Medic had a nail gun for their primary weapon. I believe that was an early scout weapon, though someone who followed the game much more closely prior to release would know more about that than I.

This is all very exciting

Grim, they were there since launch. They are unused weapon models.

That's a shame, I thought for sure the branding iron was going to be the next engie toy

In one of the first few videos they released of TF2 the scout has a nail gun.

And the Demoman uses a MIRV grenade. TF2 was originally basically going to be "Team Fortress Classic: Source" in that early video but the game became a bit more independent and innovative as development went on.

You can still find all those old models (albeit without textures) in the TF2 GCF. They may return...

Oh wow. A devout fan of Proto-TF2 and I got burned. Umm, loophole! :p

Back on topic, I hope the unlockables for the Engineer are a bit more tame than the degree of cliches the Scout's were. If I get something like the "HickerHocker" or any of that weird southern slang I think I'll die.

That basketball hoop makes me hope that the "very new game mode" has NOTHING to do with that prop.

Im glad im not the only one who noticed. For me it was the main stairwell outta the attacking team spawn that I noticed first. And is it just me or is the spawn like almost the size of point A and B combined. Its rediculous, it takes forever to get back to the resupply.

I'm thinking we'll see an interim update in between the now and the next scout update.

Because they are updating the Scout twice in a row, you see. Valve decided that the scout was still too underpowered and decided that they needed to give it another go. mwahaha.
