I've decided to stop mapping. Mainly because I don't get the satisfaction from it anymore as I used to back in the day. I'll still try to finish Quetzal to final release, but that's about it. Although I have some projects left which I felt would be a shame if they were just tossed out of the window. Two of those projects are very early in development and basically consists out of 1/2 areas, but I feel like their design can work. The other projects were heading towards a fully fledged map, but I hit a roadblock that frustrated me to no end, so maybe someone else would conquer this roadblock...
If you plan to take over the torch for one of these projects, let me know in the comments. You don't have to have prior mapping experiences to adopt these maps.

Obviously based on Hydro. Never got further than designing the spawn. Probably too detailed for an alpha map, but I'm sure the layout of spawn can work. The idea was going to be where a shortcut would be overflown by water and bots could drain it, to open it up.

A map that already has been tested a few times. The inspiration for this map came from the Belgian city, Bruges. I'm sure the layout in its current state works fine. It even got to the detailing stage. But regardless of what I did, I never felt happy with the results and it only caused more frustration, so yeah...

A map that already got tested. It works quite well, at least better than I expected, but will still require some changes. I started this map with good confidence, but halfway through, I realized I simply just do not enjoy alpha testing. I only enjoy the detailing part of the map. Map has gone quite far to simply let it rot on my storage, that's why I'm posting it here if someone's interested.
