Currently in Hammer, caught a button or a couple of buttons by mistake and now cant get out of this:

Apom, Thanks mate thats what it was. Youme took a minute out of Zombie slaying to tell me..but thanks anyways mate. Appreciated.

Found It, Had a quick steam friends convo with youme. All he said was press i lol and it worked so god knows what i does but sorted now.

No. It's annoying and distracting. I'd rather use the wireframe views in Top, Front, and Side views.

I remember accidentally doing this in one of my first Hammer projects and frantically hitting random keys to try and fix it.

I've actually used it occasionally when I feel like optimizing my brushwork.

Once or twice, but pretty much what Altaco said. I'm pretty good at anticipating what'll come of my brush work though these days.

One annoying "hotkey" is x.. damn that key.
