I really can not understand why anyone would ever agree to settle their legal disputes on Judge Judy instead of using a real court. It's like someone saying, "Hey, I'll pay for your entire dinner if you let me spit in your entree." :|

It's a small claims court, and i imagine they get it resolved for free through sponsership of the show. IE the show has cases to air, they get their shit sorted.
