Ravine (VSH) V6
A Versus Saxton Hale version of a forgotten Valve arena map.
DESCRIPTION
Seeing the VSH version of Nucleus inspired me to do an alternate version of another arena map - Ravine. Keep in mind that I didn't just port the map to the new gamemode, I also expanded some places, gave access to some previously out of bounds areas and added health and ammo packs.
VERSUS SAXTON HALE BASICS
Since the gamemode became official not too long ago, I will teach you the basics:
Red team is fighting against Saxton Hale - a buff ex-CEO of Mann Co. He has incredibly high health, mobility and damage. His fist can oneshot 7 out of the 9 classes, but he does not have any ranged weapons, forcing Saxton to be close and personal. You cannot respawn in this mode.
Saxton Hale abilities:
Brave jump - super powerful double jump
Mighty slam - by crouching mid-air, Saxton can perform a powerful weightdown, knocking people away and dealing damage
Charge attack - upon pressing R, Saxton will freeze in the air, releasing the button propells him forward
Saxton PUNCH! - once in 30 seconds Hale's punch performs a powerful AoE attack
Stomp - landing on someone's head does extra damage
Mercenaries abilities:
Wall climb - melee hit a wall to climb it
Melee crits - guaranteed critical hits on melee weapons (except for spy's knives)
Last mann standing - 3 remaining survivors get minicrits
