As a 2008 TF2 player, I have seen many fake update pages created and shared online from "Guard Dog" to "The Mechanical Engineer Update" to "The Sentry Catalog"... But over the last few years, I have seen very little to none of these fanmade update pages. And this is why, for this year's TF2 Jam, I have attempted to create my own fake update page.

I've never made a page like that before. I mostly looked at some fake update pages and innovate something with my little Paint.net knowledge (I also got some tips from a few artist friends to make a better look). But for a first time, I'm happy with the result.

The name "A Heavy Community Update" is in reference to two things :

• The first Heavy update from 2008 was called "A Heavy Update"
• Since the community is doing a LOT of work between creating items/maps, making maps, innovating new gamemodes/maps with VScript and fixing old bugs, a future major update would be one big community update

The choice of items/maps were mostly because I like the look of them, some fits the TF2 style very well (while some won't and would be good additions for some Custom Weapons gamemode haha). Some people won't agree with my choices but again, this is a fake update page and it was purely made for fun. I was very enthusiastic to work on this little project.
