Beggar's Bazooka with 3/4 upgraded clip size, full reload speed, full firing speed, 2/4 ammo capacity. That is all I'll ever need besides a metric butt-tonne of Crit Canteens, so if I've got cash to spare, it's randomly thrown into either Buff Banner duration or health-on-kill with the Bazooka. I also use the Disciplinary Action.

I don't make much, if any, use of the resistance upgrades. The times I did, they seemed too situational unless I committed to them and fully upgraded it, which left me lacking in the number of Canteens I could buy (I use those a lot.).

I think buying resistances is dumb. I prefer to not get hit (move speed).

Yeah, I haven't seen much of a use for them. If we have a round where there is a ton of one type coming and we are getting stuck on it and I'm dying a lot, I might plunk a point or two in that resistance, but it's usually out of desperation.

I only use them when I have loads of money and nothing to spend it on.

That only really happens on the last wave though, and even then I'm constantly buying and using powerup canteens.
