    Well, they already prevented trainslawlaser earlier on the day just because of that counter in it. They just keep in mind that 12yr olds join the server and they shouldnt be getting that language thrown at them. But then again, wanker is allowed since the sniper seems to like saying that.

    However, since you are aiming at music based rather than vocal based then its fine :) There are lots of other songs that suit the map anyway.

    Me and some friends experienced a bug where if someone got trapped in the speaker as it rose, the whole animation/sond thing would freeze

    That is known and will be eventually get fixed, but thanks for going out of your way to make sure I knew about it!

    good to see that the "Troll Glitch" is alreaddy a known thing... I had to kick several Players from my server because they didnt wanna leave the freaking speaker alone...

    Yeeeaaah. Sorry.

    It is a shameful glitch that is the result of cramming making this thing in about a week, with 75% of that time spent choreographing events.

    Could enable a trigger_hurt over the speaker, destroy anyone that dares mess with the speaker.

    Especially since the problem is Source being Source.. there doesn't seem to be any guaranteed way to completely prevent players from interfering with trains or doors.

    I was thinking of either a push shoving everyone standing on it off (and getting rid of the "pit") or just teleporting everyone onto the control point and freezing them in place while the speaker raises. That way it brings everyone in for the big reveal.

    Although "do not challenge the bass cannon" is pretty funny too.

    Maybe allow them to mess with it at first using a timer that starts when it is trying to set up. If it gets blocked making a later event not happen that timer is able to detect it (as it doesnt get deactivated). Add some tune into it to reward them for messing with it (for example like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Et1qBCnv3c) followed by making them get launched of, or simply kill them (if launching didnt work). And then continue making it do what it should do.

    People will want to mess with it each round, but it wont block it anymore. And it adds some useless stuff into it without giving it a harsh 'no you wont' message.

    But how is Crash going to fit triple the entities he put in trainsawlaser if he partakes in such complicated frivolity?

    A quick count:
    Timer (enabled during the normal event, disabled if reaching the open animation fast enough).
    If the timer fires then it plays an audiosound, probably some pushes and trigger hurt. Lets say that is 3 pushes for 3 directions and 1 hurt to kill them.
    Then we add a sound (and if the normal sound isnt split we also add 2 more sounds to allow some more messing with them)

    A total of 8 entities. Obvously, its optimistic so lets say it takes double that count and you have 16 entities. Most likely allowing optimizing. Im not aware of his entity count though and the average entity usage on his already random events.

    This project is super low compared to TSL. Tons of room to expand. I used what I learned optimizing entities on TSL for this project so I'm way ahead of the game.

    And I actually kept my entity work organized this time.

    I'm sort of keen on the idea of teleporting everyone to the middle just to draw everyone into the focal point and have a big epic first burst. Right now it makes more sense not to stand in front of the speaker at the start, and I'd like to either encourage or force it.

    Yes, critboost while everyone is cowering in fear.

    It would be cool if it were easy to assign a random direction to a func_conveyor or trigger_push, have everyone explode to some random corner of the map when the speaker fires.

    I mean after that part and only when standing on the point. You get blasted away and have a critboost with it.
