well it works here since there are all these people with community weapons on the tf2map.net server and it works in third person so you'd see shaq floating around everywhere.

How did you replace it?

First, I looked in the particle editor and I tried to find the community weapon sparkle effect. Eventually I found it in the effects folder (community_sparkle or something like that). It was linked to a vtf file, which yeahyeahyup then edited and made a Shaq replacement for. If you want to replace sparkles with anything else, just replace Shaq in the vtf file with anything else (for instance, I guess you could edit the sparkles to be golden-yellow if you're feeling self-important, or you could edit them to be Adrien Brody's face if you're a big fan).
