[WIP]Water ride cart

So my last map has been destroyed but I don't give up mapping. I had the idea some months ago of making a theme park pl_ map. I haven't started mapping it but here's what I've done on 2 hours. It's the cart of the first stage, it's a boat like those ones you can find on a theme park. This one is from Port Aventura, is the best theme park in Spain.

Here's the original one, is not equal but more or less.

BTW how is the pl_ cart model called and in which folder is it?

omg.. pl_canal. If you can stick a bomb on a small canal boat and have it reach different locks.. it would certainly be a site for sore eyes against those train tracks we see everywhere.

Though i imagine distance to the cart being a difficult thing to work out, if it's in a channel of water (even if not that wide) since you have to be practically standing on it to move it.

You could end up blowing some docks up at the end, *shrug*.

Atleast that would be more in keeping with the TF2 game theme than perhaps a theme park which may come across a bit gimmicky in appearence. Only a suggestion though. Your island map turned out quite nicely despite it's pirate-y theme.

Oh no, it's going to be a multithemed map. Port Aventura has 5 different themes, 1 of them is Far West which fits perfect with TF2. Each stage would have a different cart.

The first stage is tropical themes, so I'll make it very similar as cp_pirate_island, 2nd stage is going to be a rollercoaster which is on the Far West theme, it's called Stampida and is made by wood.

Haha, btw the Spampida rollercoaster has 2 paralel carts (the real one), one of them is blue and the other red.

Cool idea. Not sure if you can pull it off with the limited amount of textures but you can always try
