Remember, folks, lighting defines how an environment is perceived by the player. A few tweaks to the light entity settings, plus some new light sources, and you can get some really nice improvements. Here are some gifs showcasing comparisons between versions of my map, KOTH Ice Tower, rc5 (2021) VS rc6 (2023):

need opinions on this layout

the map is ctf so even if this is just red's side, the blue side will just be mirrored

Is it too small / too big?
Hard to say based off the photo. Try compiling the map to get a feel for the size of the space and be sure to pick a medium speed class as to not have a bias due to speed. Then you just go from there and adjust

I think I should call Ice Tower 2 at this point, or go back in time and change the RC to Beta... oh well. I still need to do the blu side and some areas need more work, but I think this will be the final update for this project. I will do a testing session before full release of the RC7.

@HashBrosTrollsG This looks nice! The buildings in the first screenshot feel a tad bit empty to me. But I love the windmill and the buildings in the 2nd screenshot look really nice. Hope to see more of this!
