"vrad.exe - 49 hours, 10 minutes, 24 seconds elapsed" - and i'ts HDR only and -fast vis
:\
There is more screenshots, but maybe later.
Protip: full vvis makes vrad faster in CSGO. By how much, I'm not sure, but from what I saw there's little point in using fast vvis for a lighting test."vrad.exe - 49 hours, 10 minutes, 24 seconds elapsed" - and it's HDR only and -fast vis

And this isn't even Source 2 yet it looks bonkers."vrad.exe - 49 hours, 10 minutes, 24 seconds elapsed" - and it's HDR only and -fast vis

I had a same thoughts, and I actually compiled it couple times with full vvis and vrad compile time was the almost same for me.Protip: full vvis makes vrad faster in CSGO. By how much, I'm not sure, but from what I saw there's little point in using fast vvis for a lighting test.
I would say its worth it."vrad.exe - 49 hours, 10 minutes, 24 seconds elapsed" - and it's HDR only and -fast vis

49 hours
i7 3610QM. CS:GO have more advanced lighting, that's why compile time is much longer. Plus, my map have a lot of props and lighting sources.what PC do you have...wasn't there a bug with vrad in csgo taking longer if it uses more CPU cores?

OMG, thank's a lot. I really though, that maybe something wrong, because my TF2 maps compile time usually takes about less than hour, but yeah 50+ hours, that's waaaaaaay to long, I blame my self for not using google, lol, i'm so lazy.no I mean, csgo has a bug that makes the compile time much slower with vrad. No way the compile is supposed to take 2 days.
Not even that, even with the same CPU he's getting half the compile time for VRAD.no I mean, csgo has a bug that makes the compile time much slower with vrad the more cores your CPU has. No way the compile is supposed to take 2 days.
i5 4690k - 4 Cores, i7 3610QM - 4 cores/8 threads. Compile time is@Flower_Shop_Guy how many cores/threads are you at?
