It looks good dark, but the gameplay would be bad, so light it.

Not really, but if it's hard to tell team colors (or impossible) you're just gonna frustrate players for no reason. There are lots of ways you can light a map; it doesn't need to be super bright in every area.

Not sure bright, but according to VDC, points and objectives should be bright, so they're easy to locate. Ofc there can be dark zones too to set the mod :p

And, btw, here's my first screen from my new map - ik, no dev textures , pootismen everywhere and void.
Feedback appreciated if you can come with any.

Also, you'd probably do well to read the lighting guide I wrote. It's a lot more in depth and complex than the VDC stuff.

Also also, I fixed your picture. You have to embed the image file (Right click -> open image in new tab), not the page the image is on.

The lights are coming from a lights texture, I cant tune them down without scaling the texture, which either results in too bright or too dark. Im only using these because I like how they look in 2fort

And yeah, I know - that finale isn't too impressive. I haven't gotten around to detailing it yet.
I'd better get an actual compile without fast vis so we can test this (I have the nav mesh and pop file already made so I just have to patch up what's WIP)
