You'll benefit much more from making your own map than re-skinning a Valve map. Or, if you're desperate, go to the Maps Repository and take over someone else's abandoned project.

Oh we talked about how easy it would be to fix Junction in chat today.

All you have to do is make the map outdoors.

And a gravel pit theme.

And then change it's layout to cp_gravelpit.

See? Fixed.

I'd like to see some kind of flooded drain or something like that. Right now, I don't see any kind of drainage in that pit, which would be an unforgivable technical flaw.

Basically what I'm going for is that they are pumping the water out of the aquifer layer under the tower. Maybe I should make the ground under it dirt instead of concrete...

edit: Inside the little round metal hall thing with the health it shows the pipes going down to the water.

Holy hell that joke got beaten to death. The point was that Junction is so broken, nothing short of just straight up deleting the map could probably fix it.

I just picked Gravel Pit because it's the only other official map of its game mode (a much more successful, competitively played map). That's all. No hidden messages.

Gravel pit is a good map imo.

I was just joking with how broken junction is. Its the same kind of humor as the one you use when you say that stepping on a lego is worse than stepping on an anti-personal mine.
