This is such a good idea, but being 14, Even Ryanair is expensive, tell you what, if you ever run it again, count me in on it :p

More importantly, how easy to arrange / expensive is a tour at VALVe?

I think you could just e-mail Gabe up and ask if you can have a tour round. I know it worked for these guys and they got a load of free stuff.

Also, you could meet Robin, and Icarus could whine about how he didn't get a mention for Coldfront.

Me and Hanz had a similar idea a few weeks ago, but on a lower scale:

The center of Western-Europe is Brussels (The EU is centered there for a reason), so we could organize a meeting there. And I'm willing to organize an event like that.

I think something else could be organized (on both coasts) for that huge country that revolted a few years ago on the worst side of the ocean, and in England's former prison on the worlds worst side of the world. :p

You were supposed to show up in werchter but nooooooooo!

DON'T TRUST THIS MAN!

We should all dress up as tooltextures (I know we've talked about this in chat). I call invisible.

Hehe, no way am I entrusting my life to the shite that is Ryanair. And despite this sounding awesome, i'd never be able to go :(

yay RyanAir ! Why wouldn't you be allowed to go Stick? Your legally allowed to fly and your technically an adult, being 16 and all. So you can go. I on the otherhand are 15 and therefore unless I bribe my parents a lot am screwed.

Just finished Episode Two and an EXTREMELY hard achievement, and I'd like to ask the guys at Valve a few questions like "Why?" and "What the hell guys?!", but... meh, I can't come, I don't have the money. And even if I had enough money, I would probably buy a new video card or a FAN, it's too hot in here D:

Don't talk to Valve about Half-Life. They have a room where they keep the heads of everyone who's asked on spiked crowbars with a shrine to Gordon Freeman.

I could drive to Valve HQ in ~30 minutes to an hour from my house... :p

But I don't know that I'd go for a meet-up, unless it was pre-arranged and absolutely guaranteed to happen once people arrived (as in, not just people showing up and spontaneously asking at the front gate if they can come in for a tour, only to be turned away). If it was all cleared beforehand with the Valve people, then ... maybe.

While that was would be dandy, being on the south end of the US sort of complicates things... and I has no moneys
