Valve releases it on Mac, throws engineer update in to boost the game in popularity again, and then put it on 50% sale to make more mac users buy the game. Or well... at least that is what I think will happen.

I think maybe that picture is ingame and they're throwing in a graphics update.
Also the fact is they are releasing tf2 on mac. You just have to search tf2.
