its not mandatory to join. if they're busy with the current contest, they dont HAVE to participate in this one. this could be for those who didnt want to do a full contest and would rather get involved withs something smaller.

It also gives people something to do while they are waiting for the votes to be counted.

Everything must be finished and submitted in the upload thread before 9:00PM CST on Monday 31st May 2010! I will toss up the the upload thread a week or so before the contest ends.

Anyways, I would like to thank you for this contest, since I am pretty sure that my contest map is not gona get even close to winning (maybe last place ). My hammer skills have improved enormous amounts in the last few months, and I would like to show them off! That said, I will still be working on my contest map for the next week

If you put a 2048x2048 skybox ABOVE your map (no height limit, remember?) you can have a huuuuge sky.
