After I got tired of idling because I never got a hat, I decided to join the TF2Maps.net US Server and I found a Otolaryngologist's Mirror.

Crafted my toque and football into a Fedora. Got a fedora. Crafted a hatless sniper (from 3 metal things) then put 1 fedora + hatless got a medic Tyrolean...then put that with my toque to get...

Finally got my first hat after just over a month of regular gameplay. Almost like a belated Christmas present. Anyway, it was a camera beard, which everyone seems to have now. (I know it's misc, not a hat, but still)

Omg, I hate valve now. They took away my Tyrant's Helm, Claiming I idled for it. Even though I found it in a game of Dustbowl, after not idling since the "Idling Incident" (Which should never be brought up again.) Valve officially sucks.

Just crafted this, don't really want it.

Finally make my first hat and it's not one I wanted... Should have waited for another 27 craftable items so I could at least get one for a class I wanted.

Anyone know if sitting in spectator to idle works anymore? I don't want to run my class time up. :/

my first hat was the camera beard on the day of the war update.

then it became a misc

since then, i've gotten two more camera beards.....

and no i dn't think specator works. but i wouldn't know.

On the first day of crafting, I crafted 2 refined and 2 reclaimed, and then most of my metal got deleted, leaving me with just 1 reclaimed.

And my Stovepipe, which I like, but it looks too much like the Gibus.

I only idle in spec, i think it works, but i cant really say 100% sure...
