Although I've crafted a hat, I'm still sad that 206 hours gameplay yielded no random hats.

I wasted my ingredients on tokens like a bloody idiot. Three class tokens and a slot token are no good if you are way short of smelting a hat for said classes.

Hence it was an absolute overload of luck that today I was gifted from the heavens with a Bonk Atomic Punch helmet for the scout.

I just finally got my first dropped hat a couple of days ago, and the Gods of TF2 were obviously nice to me, since they gave me a Tyrant's Helm (Which is, in my opinion, the coolest of all the hats)! Needless to say, I actually have reason to play Soldier now.

And then, two days later, I crafted a heavy helmet. Not the toque I was hoping for, but still good!

I'm saving my metal (almost 4 refined) for this new update coming up. I think it will be worth it, and I'm predicting that this update will solve the idling. I'm trying to get my fill of it now.

Well, this is late, but I got a Respectless Rubber Glove this Sunday gameday on Forbidden Planet. After so long without any random headgear, I got the BEST GODDAMN HAT IN THE GAME.

I can die happy now.

EDIT: Also, only 11-18 more weapons for a new random hat!

If you pray to more than one you're not doing it right, all the ones you've prayed to will see you've prayed to all the others and will consider you blasphemous, and consequentially smite you.

Aha. Your point may just be voided, I've over today obtained the exact combination of 3 items that I needed to get just enough refined for a soldier hat...

EDIT: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFU STASH. I hate the stash. And to add to the hurt it's a level 10.

EDIT 2: After my initial rage I realize it's not so bad. Yes it's the least showoffy of the soldier hats, but I find so many people use the pot and helm that it becomes rather old. Having a more subtle hat for a class I actually play is nice for a change.
