We all lohate TF2, we all know it's setting, theme and humour. But what music would be best fit to TF2 (not what you listen to while playing), what artists and genres would the team listen to? As a reminder, TF2 takes place in semi-alternative reality around mid-1960s.
My guesses would be:
Scout - raised on Boston streets, would probably enjoy Blues, early RnB
Pyro - light, happy, tunes (Loving Spoonful, The Beattles)
Soldier - I guess military songs, maybe some American rock bands
Demo - Scottish folk, whatever plays in pub he's in
Heavy - I bet Misha listens to jazz and 195p-1960s Russian pop
Engie - country and Rock'n'Roll
both Medic and Spy seem like they'd share interest in classical music
Sniper - probably doesn't listen to music much, maybe only some radio on the road in his camper.

For Sniper it depends on where he comes from, most people from the Outback listen to Country music, while most City Folk would be listening to the same stuff of 70s England.

I dunno, I always figured Scout was more of a hip hop fan. (Even though hip hop only really started in the mid-70s but TF2's timeline is all over the place so who cares)

Also I remember there was a line in Poker Night where the Heavy says he likes Huey Lewis and the News.

You know that bit in The Simpsons where Principal Skinner conducts "Beethoven's Fifth" on his record player? I can kind of imagine the soldier doing that? Except he's hitting it with a riding crop and shouting along, and it's "Ride of The Valkyries"
