That's it.
I've had enough of this fouckin' map.

A8_2 - June Sixteenth


Changes to Point A:
  • Opened Point A back up again
  • Replaced stairs with bridges to the opposite building for the third time
  • Added a door leading from the yard around Point A to the Garage
  • Replaced stack of crates with a proper staircase leading up to Red Regroup
Changes to Blue Yard:
  • Boarded off the routes on the far left and right
  • Shifted Blue Spawn, now exits into building in center
  • Moved respawn room visualizers up around doors of building
  • Raised floor of ditch
  • Added a route from the courtyard outside of Red Spawn to the back route behind Point B
Fixed sliding door
Just let the silence come again: On that you can depend
Until the bitter, bitter end
Add a ramp onto the cap zone to accommodate big wet ninnies
Retextured Red Spawn room
Added a custom overlay to some random crate
Other miscellaneous bollocks

Page numbers are different depending on your preferences. You can set how many posts you want displayed per page. Right now this thread is at page 3 for me. So uh, don't count by page numbers, cause they can be different for everybody.

At this point I believe the best course of action is to simplify the layout by hacking it to bits

Point B displeases me, I would like to remove it completely, make Point A into Point B and make a new Point A from scratch, possibly drawing influence from some of the areas surrounding Point B
I feel like, while the whole map is equally terrible, Point A has more potential than B

I feel bad for you, all of my WIP maps I tried to make went down. I only stick to Payload since it is fun to make for me. (For those who want to respond: I mean sometimes good ideas wouldn't really make a good map because of some gameplay issues with it. It's hard to remove it, but hopefuly you could stick it into another project of yours.

Notable Influences:
  • Point B resembles Point A of A8_2
  • The Blue Spawn, Yard and Approach to Point A resemble the Spawn, Yard and Mid Approach from Koth Fourth
