I think mid was lacking in some verticality - some way for me to experiment with tactics, it would also make it harder for enemies to flank you as you are fighting towards mid since the height just cuts them off. That was a problem I think - that you would try to approach mid but then while reloading a pyro would appear perpendicular to you and your target to finish you off. Should try to fix that collision mesh of the ski lift thing too - even if that means disabling collisions and remaking parts with clips or even decompiling/remaking the collision mesh.
