    So This is the deal, the map is close and I need to see what people think. Test it out, play with some friends, and tell me what you think.

    If you have a map you want to put on the sN. Pub server we will help you out as well. You scratch my back, we will scratch yours.

    I'm looking to turn the PUB into a custom maps server so submit your maps and lets have some fun.

    Very nice looking, although I'd change the name to cp_showdown_a13 instead. (As is standard. :p)

    Well, I'm actually not a fan of the ground (same alpha on all disps) but that should be easy enough to fix, right?

    yea, there are a lot of little things that are daunting, and a few issues with the props. However, yes that particular rendering issue shouldn't be a big deal.

    This is actually my first map, so my inexperience gets the best of me some times.

    Some of the textures on the arch in pic 1 are misaligned.

    it might just be because i stare at that map so much that I dont see it. Mind showing me which ones? I'm actually looking for someone to help me finish up the map. Mostly for detail work and optimization if anyone is interested.

    BLU's architecture doesn't follow BLU's... architecture art style. BLU should be cool colours and generally involves a lot more concrete/metal, rather than wood.

    Players will get easily confused as to what side of the map they're on.

    Also, it looks a bitch for optimisation.

    well those particular concrete themed buildings didn't really work for the upper level of the map. However, I will be re-rendering the red's side to have more of a red wood, where as the Blue's side will likely stay the same. Also almost every building is marked with the corresponding team color. It's not really a hard map to figure out.

    The optimization is definitely a bitch. I'm actually looking for someone to come in on the project with me to have finish the map. So if anyone wants to work their magic and get their name on the map feel free to comment here and I'll get in touch with you. It was fairly easy getting this far. Finishing it will be a whole other ordeal.

    Bahaha, I've looked through 5 new maps, and about 90% of them have you posting that exact thing.


    Also, this looks quite good for a new release. I'd like to see this with better details.

    Yea, I'm having a lot of trouble finishing off the map. I'm looking for someone with a little more experience to help me finish it up.
