I have a pair of Sennheiser HD-190 (I think) for music listening. A few years old now but still very good. As others have said you cannot go wrong with Sennheiser for music (cans though & not ear buds things).

For gaming I'd recommend these Roccat Kave 5.1 headset. Awesome piece of kit with real 5.1 surround (you need the audio connections for 5.1 on your MB or soundcard).

I bought a Roccat Kone gaming mouse last year & I'm totally impressed by the quality of their products.

just got the Klipsch Image One headphones for my birthday and these things really pack a punch. You get the nice punching bass that balances out with a huge range of sound. It is like having two high quality speakers strapped to your head.

My bro got these on recommendation indirectly through some guy on Newegg through me, and I've tried them. They're amazing. Get them. (Good price, great quality, very sturdy and won't break one of the speakers when you put them in your backpack) I also told him to get one of those Logitech desk microphones, and it's good, too.
