Public Plea for Help

I want the earbuds. Badly.

So, to do so, I need to find a way to get OSX on my laptop, because the macs Ihave access to do not have sufficient hdd space to hold tf2.

So, I want help. Ideas, Gents?

Least they could have done is give PCs a proper headset.

I hope someone figures out a way to spoof the unlocking event instead.

My favorite fix, however, would be for earbuds to be un-equippable (even if you have them in your backpack) unless you are at that very moment on a mac. It removes temptation, and means if I see earbuds I know they're a mac user, not just a PC user who logged on once months ago onto a mac.

This is starting to sound more and more like the halo "hat" given to only people who didn't use the idler. Which resulted in many kicked players, server mods (to keep the calm), even bans for and of many pissed off TF2 clients.

That said i don't really care either way. I just hope it doesn't interfere with my experience of the game, because it was utterly rediculous trying to complete objectives only to uber some pyro who runs off after someone equipped with a halo and lose us the game.

Turns out Apple store's demo iMacs arent protected from people installing whatever they want on them. I went to the apple store in Brent Cross today, installed steam, logged in, left tf2 to download for an hour while me and my gf messed around on photobooth

played a game or two and hey presto!:woot: nabbed myself a pair. see if there is an apple store near you and diy tomorrow
