I probably couldn't re-make those two videos today due to Valve's changes. I'm annoyed how Valve seems to be removing debug stuff... especially when all the damage of people misunderstanding what they show was already done years ago. For the hitboxes, there ought to be a workaround via sv_showlagcompensation.Hrm. So how does this affect the research in those videos about the flamethrower and huntsman? Was that Terr who did those?
The problem Valve is referring to is that the wireframes would "lag" behind players as they moved, and people wrongly (but understandably) interpreted it as a bug. In reality, it was normal and had to do with how the game engine worked to smooth out movement and keep the world in-sync among various players.
Yeah, Sniper already has Jarate. He doesn't need more in terms of a Spy-counter.Yeah, I don't like the bleeding Kukri either, especially because it messes up cloaking (which probably isn't on purpose).
