Actually his post is 80% copy/pasta from one of the previous ones, which was 40% copy pasta fro man even earlier one. So that particular line was written by me, well over 6 months back. :p

Is it OK for parts of models to be outside the 2048X2048 square? I mean, if the origins of models are all inside it, but the whole model doesn't fit and is poking out?

Gahh. I'd love to enter, but I'm too busy.

But there'll be more of these, right? The thrill of trading cards makes these things irresistable.

I would guess so. As long as the map is a sealed 2048x2048 square, the random branch sticking out shouldn't be a problem.

I've never seen myself as much of a good mapper but I may as well enter this just to see how it goes. Excellent swamp-pack by the way

This might be a stupid question, but how frequent are these mini contests?

Anyone needing a high-res picture taken can contact me.

I know some people can't run full-anti-aliasing, mipmapping, etc. If there's anyone who wishes a full quality screenshot (Full Anti-Aliasing, Mat_Picmip -10, mp_usehwmmodels/vcds, Full Filtering, Motion blur, Bloom, HDR, etc.) you can contact me and I'll be willing to do it.

    1440x900 though. :/
