i need some info

    so i have a map idea and i need to know some stuff before i get started

    1:how big is to big for hammer? the map is BIG so i need to know what hammer can handle

    2:do you know any good tutorials for making a palode race?

    3:what is the best and easiest way to make square or rectangular cuts in a map?

    no map is too big for hammer unless its the size of a city
    payload race doesn't require tutorials just use some prefab logic
    don't make a map for cutting into a single brush, instead push your way through the map placing dev textures, basic entities and spawns as you go along. A lot of early mappers lay down the ground and go from there, others detail while the go through building the map. Don't do either of these.
    Be sure you have a full on design on graphing paper before you start good luck.

    well the letter before A, the reason i need to cut is because the map is trench warfare based so the cutting is to make it easy to manage and change

    Trust me ive trued cutting a map before.
    The clipping tool is only good in small amounts
