NOTES:
-I'm talking about the Gmod workshop, and I'm planning to make both Gmod AND TF2 maps (gonna start with TF2).

-This is for FUTURE use

According to Hammer's startup log, it doesn't scan for workshop directories, so I guess you'll have to copy the models into a custom folder.

1.) How to i transport models directly from an adddon
2.) And I'm confused for the custom folder Like what name should be the folder, where should i place it, ect.

Also keep in mind this is gonna be my first time mapping.

Anything in the Garry's Mod or Source Filmmaker workshops is likely to not be compiled for prop_static and have a high amount of detail with no LODs. I do not recommend using them in a TF2 map, even ignoring the ethical issues with using them in a way their creators never authorized.

Hm, ok, understandable. But i still want to know how, for later use (most likely in a different SOURCE game), and of course, with the addon creator's permission. I swear to god, i just remember seeing a video on how to get workshop items for source.

You just have to put them in your tf2 root folder the same way it is downloaded. The models are usually in <root>/models and the textures for the models in <root>/materials/models just make sure the paths are identical.

If the workshop downloads the content as vpk you can extract it with GCFScrape or by pushing the vpk onto the vpk.exe in Team fortress 2/bin

garrysmod addons from the workshop download as .gma files, so you need to use gmad.exe (which is located in the bin folder) to turn a .gma into a folder with asset files. You can do this via drag and drop, or operate it with command line.

If you're going to get the creators' permission, you might as well kill two birds with one stone and ask them to convert the models properly and post the updated versions here.
