I think it could benefit from another instrument. Like a little chime sound or some sort of tinkling type of noise.

Well, that's especially well done considering you used Photoshop, since it's not exactly tailored for painting.

what? photoshop is great for painting! ;_; not because there are programs that are called "painter" or "illustrator" doesn't make them better to paint with

Paint Tool SAI is bloody amazing. Give it a try. It's even free!

EDIT: And what I mean when I'm talking about Photoshop is that while it's just fine to paint with (as you demonstrated ), I think it's lacking in the brush features. It's hard to make a brush you really like, and it doesn't have that good feel of actually drawing/painting, unlike the watercolor tool in SAI.
