Hello, I noticed this map was linked on tf2.com today and wanted to try it.

But, I just get a CTD after doing `map koth_fever_b1` and the source dedicated server crashes too if it uses the map.

It seems I'm not the only one :-

Is there a fix, or something we've missed to get it working?

On a different note, I was planning on using this with the new koth bots.

Valve have instructions for generating an initial nav mesh, which usually works to get the bots running around and playing, but as they hint in this post,

you really need to have a clue what you are doing and edit the mesh to optimise it and so on after this initial nav_generate stage.

It'd be great if a later release of this map came with an edited nav mesh if at all possible (I suspect I'd be as poor at editing a mesh as I would be at creating the map in the first place)

mates, we just brought down the swamp themed map pack to the our West Coast Party Pirates clan server and indeed we too are getting a server crash when it tries to load the map for play. We are running a windows server with Sourcemod 1.3 and Meta Mod 1.8. The other maps in the swamp pack cp_wildmire_b3 and ctf_atrophy_b4 are working fine.

I had a member try and load the map to play on his computer and it crashed on his system as well so I know it's not just the server. Could it be due to some of the recent TF2 game updates?

I presume that you have something that works for you and I guess I'm curious as to whether I can still get to that point?

Presumably you must have installed the swamp theme pack in some other way than by using the release? Is that download still available somewhere on this site?

I can confirm...Koth fever crashes the server each and every time it's loaded.

Sorry, the topic didn't come up for me on the last 10.

Paradoxically, I compiled a beta 2 but even I can't load that. It's a weird issue, and I'd really like to fix it, but I've got work to do for school at the moment, and that takes priority.

All I can conclude at the moment, is that some of the custom content in the map is causing the problem, because it works fine for me, but nobody else.

I've found and hopefully fixed the issue, b1a will be out today, and I'll ask zpqrei to update the map pack as well for all future downloads (it'll also be available here as a seperate one).

Needs soundscape.
Deer head in spawn rotated 90 degrees.
Get stuck on chainsaws in side buildings.
Tons of unclipped wooden beams.
Building right next to point on red side is very dark, missing a light that blue has.
Black edge in skybox look weird.

Huh? Weird, because there are soundscapes, and I did make sure every wooden beam was clipped :S. I'm not sure how the deer head/chainsaws got rotated, though I suspect it might've have been due to an update to the models in the Swamp Expansion. And yeah, the 3D skybox is crap.
