CTF Crash

    Hey tf2maps people,guests and administrators!

    -Been working on this map for a week or two already, I lost count.
    Anyway. I've not fully finished this map, been done 90%.
    I hope you guys like this map, it's my very first 'serious' map.
    -Game demanding of course-

    I hope it'll be worthy for many servers to play.

    Intel looks like a broom closet versus the mid looking like a wasteland. Open up the intel area and add some cover in the middle. Work on breaking up some of the textures with decals and advanced geometry.

    Those are just a few things I note from the screenshots.

    For your func_respawnroomvisualizer, open the texture browser and center those.

    Haha, inciting that a week or two is a long time for a map.

    I won't comment on gameplay, but you need to do a bit of work with your textures. Why are people making beams out of stone? (First screenshot). Why are people making stairs out of roofing material? (third screenshot)

    Anyways, for your first map, looks quite good, get it entered in a gameday, and see how it plays.

    Just to mention, I hate the name because it is popular Call of Duty 4 map.

    I would never name map same name as another game if it isn't trying to copy the map...

    I don't like the way the grass stops suddenly when it reaches the skybox. Add some kind of wall, perhaps?

    you're doing it wrong

    anywho, mid looks like sniperfest + gullywash. that's a bad thing. the bases façades could be a lot more interesting.

    also, one sentry can cover the whole intel room from what I can see from here

    I'm adding the skybox as well as extending the grass in the outer area. So that will be minor detail in the next version.

    it does kinda look like 2fort....

    But yea, middle looks open and the textures should be reverted to alpha textures (well, not should, but its easier to mess around with those than actual textures while you are getting a final layout done)...

    I also don't like the 3 entry ways to the middle side by side, easily campable.
