Hello folks, I'm TheSourceCode (obviously from my username) but also known as Juggernaut on Steam. I'm an old time Dota player, and and even longer time SFM user that dabbles in the arts of game development and digital art. I've always had a special place in my heart for TF2, and have created SFM content for it ever since I was 13. Yes I'm one of those people that made artwork for TF2 more than actually playing it.

I don't know how I was able to convince myself to learn yet another outdated software by Valve, but I am happy I did (thanks to the amazing community tutorials) and am looking EXTREMELY forward to getting invested with this camp of both veterans and newbies (like me).

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE FUTURE AMAZEMENT I'M ABOUT TO EXPERIENCE

Hey, TheSourceCode! Welcome to TF2Maps.net!

I'm glad you have some experience making art for TF2! There are some amazing resources you should use when making a map.

  1. UEAKCrash's mapping tutorials (

    )
  2. The Valve Developer Wiki (https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Team_Fortress_2_Level_Creation)
  3. A Boojum Snark's library (https://tf2maps.net/threads/ultimate-mapping-resource-pack.4674/).
Mapping may seem daunting at first, but just like Source Filmmaker, it gets easier the more you practice.

I can't wait to see what you make!
