*Sigh* Tf2 can't run on this pc.... I mean calculator. I'm having the requirements what the steam page says. But since I soon get a better computer I want to know what's exactly the real requirements since what the steam page says it's really out of date.

And now everyone have a good laugh about my pc:
1 GB ram
intel celeron 3.06 ghz
150 gb HDD
ati radeon hd 3450

I'm happy if I run tf2 with all configs around 12 fps on 24/24 payload server

I have this pc for 10 years now. And never got really upradged. I had a nvidia gt 7600 if I remeber but that's... exploded. Anyway I just wanna know what pc would be great to run tf2 about 60 fps minimum.

The one i'm using right now has 6gb ram, 2.4ghz dual core processor, and intel hd 4000 graphics. It can get 30-60fps consistently. My better one has 8gb ram, same speed quad core processor, and nvidia 755m video card and can get 60-110 fps

This would be the absolute minimum of a PC that I would recommend for any kind of gaming these days. You'll still probabyl have to turn settings down or run a config to get TF2 to 60fps+ but it will be much, much better than your current pc.

I think that is close what you need to really run TF2 smoothly

As far as I heard TF2 is using more CPU than GPU. If that's right what about if I get an i3-i5 cpu and all the other things that @Freyja suggested?

Yes, TF2 is more CPU intensive than GPU. Do your research on what kind of things you do most on your computer, and what processor would be best for your situation. Speed is more significant than whether it's i3 or i5

Well. When i'm palying I don't do anyting else. But I'll want to use hammer+tf2 when I'm mapping. So yeah. I make some research. But it's a bit hard since all my friends are have 16 GB ram ect. One of them already have 32 gb ram. So basicly I'm the only super low ed pc user. i hope i'll find something on the internet.

The average user rarely ever needs more than 8 GB, and it's a relatively cheap/easy part to upgrade even in laptops. The only time you'd need 32 is if you're into VMs, CAD, video editing etc.

Well the funny thing is that he just plays everytime. Not even doing any editing. Also he jsut play CS:GO? Seriously it got me thinking. Why the hell he need this beast? IF he just play cs:go (sometimes rainbowsix siege) and watch youtube videos. Anyway thanks for every answer guys! Really appreciate it.

I would definitely recommend at least an i5 if you don't want your cpu to be limiting you, but that was the absolute minimum pc I'd reccomend.

This is a much better build that will do very well at running TF2. It's also a lot more reasonable, and the motherboard has room for upgrading ram in the future. (Up to 32gb). It also has a SSD because building a pc without a SSD these days is incredibly stupid.

If you can afford it, upgrade the video card to a 390 which will be much better, but you'll probably need to up the power supply to a 650W one in that case.

If I found the right one, that processor is older than TF2 is, you might literally run into players younger than your processor.
Damn.

For what the info is worth, I have an i7-950 (bought only a year after TF2 was released, and to be replaced later today) with a 980ti that I bought only a few months ago.
I can barely run TF2 keeping above 40fps recently, sure it can peak at 300, but in combat it can drop down to 10-15.

This shows you how much TF2 is limited by processing power rather than graphical power, you really shouldn't get an i3. It's more expensive but I'd definitely recommend an i5. Compiling maps will benefit too!
