Caught this on the Escapist. It talks about the culture at Valve, and pricing options on Steam. If you are liked less, you have to pay more.

Basically, if you're a dick, you pay more. If people think your awesome, you pay less, or free.

Fascinating stuff, especially the pricing things. I could see a lot of ways that could be abused, and I am going to regret crashing those servers in Garry's Mod a while back.

What do you guys think?

Speaking of Valve, have they unveiled any of their touted "three surprises" yet? I supposed DOTA 2 was meant to be one (although it had already been leaked by that point), but have they done anything since then that would count?

No, that was at E3, before the three-surprises announcement. I somehow had gotten those mixed up after the fact too.
