Quiting mapping.

Since it looks like to one takes me seriously at all and so far all I have produced nothing more then utter crap there is no point in continuing mapping for me I guess. I have had much fun with you guys but things have just been getting too harsh and unfriendly. I really wish I could stay but unless someone can convince me otherwise I am done.

Sure, mapping isn't much fun all the time, but when you make something that people really enjoy and want to play, that makes it worthwhile! Stick at it, and you're still one of the better people here If I can carry on then so can you :/

I've seen certain assholes pull that "Well" joke over and over again, but I don't quite get why your mapping is disliked my some people. I can understand you're mad at some people, such disrespect doesn't really leave you wanting to stay, but the ones who are doing something wrong are the ones who don't take you seriously.

Remember, most of us appreciate both you and your maps as parts of the community. I doubt any of us want you to leave. I certainly don't, so I hope you do think about it once more and decide to stay.

I know the Well joke pisses you off, but I have enjoyed your other maps. I did have a great time playing Iron the other day, and you're one of the more influential people in TF2M.
You're one of the people I looked up to when I first joined and showed me that TF2M isn't that scary when you try it out

The ground textures look super ugly and it looks like you usedHL2 textures. and thats a big no no in TF2. Next time you are in the texture browser type tf into the keywords box.

I'm sorry if I came off wrong when you gave me some tips on my map, I do owe you more thanks than what was given since I found myself typing "tf" in keywords all the time now

There are many people out there (like me) that do not post often, but come to this site for help or to learn about different aspects of mapping. One of the easiest ways to learn about hammer is to see new maps; you were one of the mappers that I looked up to for knowledge. You influenced a lot of my motivation for mapping (everyone has that point where they are bored with mapping and dont feel like going on, but you helped me to persevere after I saw some of your maps). Nonetheless, you should do what you think is best for yourself, and if that is quitting, then fine. However, just know that there will be many people who will miss your works and the countless hours you have given up for the better of the community. Personally, I would enjoy to see you stay so that I may see impressive new ideas/maps/posts that you dish out. Do not worry about what other users are saying; there are a lot of people out there that do that to humor others, and ultimately hope to gain attention/popularity on sites. If you are to quit, then let me take a moment to express my many thanks; If you decide to stay, my thanks are unlimited.

Oh come on man, this is just like royale. We make fun of him a lot but it's such a loss without him. There is always a guy who is made fun of in a community and my comment about 'hate' was said in the most un-serious voice that I have. Anyway, TPG, as tempted as I am to say nothing of value was lost, and move on with life, I'm not going to, and I think I can speak for everyone here, when I say it just wouldn't be the same without you.

Now I'm not going to sugar coat your issues, you have been here a while, and been at this mapping game for even longer, and your work is definitely not really something that can be considered up to par with most standards. However, you have made some improvements lately, that while you're not going to get recognized for, they're improvements none the less.

Even though you may not be all that fine a mapper, you have, as others have mentioned, acted as a great book keeper to help newer members find valuable information they otherwise wouldn't have come across.

Now if you're really going to invest a year of time into source and hammer, then just get up and walk away before doing anything good, you've got some pretty serious issues.

Anyway, I'll sum it up by repeating to you, that it just wouldn't be the same without you.
