Thanks, I'll try this "dropbox" mystery right now.

This map is modeled after Dustbowl and Well.
Considering those were the only levels I could/wanted to look at and draw inspiration from, I don't think it's that bad :)

I started this map before the Orange Box SDK was released.

Edit: Ok, I have Dropbox, I have the file uploaded somewhere. Now, how do I share it/link to it?

I'm downloading right now. This is looking really good. You can tell that you've spent a lot of time with that map. Only thing that looks weird is that wooden building on screenshot #5 with the beams underneath - it just doesn't feel right. I think you should redo the structure of those beams and maybe reshape the roof (just a thought).

I especially like the screenshots of the cave and you did a very good job with the reskinning and the custom props.

Edit: I'm just uploading the map to the EU server so we can see if it plays as good as it looks.

Those are good maps to model on/be inspired by!

And I agree with all the comments so far. It looks really great. I like the brick buildings and smokestacks in particular.

Wow, SS's 8, 9, and 10 look just awesome. My only concern is number 13, with the Dustbowl-style cap. I'm not a big fan of it, but if it fits well, laissez faire.

I can see about five custom models in the screenshots and barely any custom textures. Shouldn't you be focusing on using as little space as possible?

There are at least five custom models in each screenshot.
I guess they are "invisible effects" as they say in the film industry. :p

The size will be a bit bigger, since I haven't done all the overlays yet.

I call them useless. You're taking up extra resources (the user's hard drive space) for something that could probably just be TF2's default models.

I'm not going to lie, the map is beautiful.

In the same way as Meridian and Aerospace. It's awesome, but I can guarantee that this will be a server killer.

Yeah I have to say it seems like a waste of effort and space. :/ Nearly everything you've made that's custom isn't even noticable.
Take Meridian and Aerospace, both a third smaller than your map, and all the custom content is right in front of you making you go "wow!"
