remaster of classic trade_plaza map
Changes & fixes
Art-pass:
- Night theme
- Actual mall aesthetic (featured pub, cinema, boutique etc.)
- The car race area reworked from scratch -
- Bumper car race
- Playgrounds
- Giant funky speakers and semi-working (only major scale) synthesizer
- Boxing arena (very original)
Functional changes:
- Added small med kits and ammo packs across the map
(to encourage players to stay longer outside of spawn)
- Added healing trigger right next to the AFK zone
(It restores player's health, no need to walk to the lockers to re-heal anymore)
- Added vent-flow-drop-out system
(2td 'one-way' exit, drops player in 2 possible spots from the vents in the Playground zone. Anti-spawncamp measure)
- Added speed busters / fast lines next to spawns so slower classes can roll-out easier
- Added cover and sight line breakers:
- barriers
- columns
- small pool bars
- crates
- Added sakura trees as a place to hide against attacs from above
- Added flower pots across the main hall as hiding spots
Fixes:
-Fixed ceiling clipping in the main hall (no more bumping into random walls)
-Fixed ceiling clipping in the prior car race area
-Fixed Visualizers covering 90% of the spawn gates
-Fixed The Flying Guillotine spawn window glitch
-Optimization fixes
This map is pretty heavy, because it uses a lot of custom props and materials.
I used my own models and textures and A LOT of models and materials
created by many talented artists, modelers and creators.
