Norfolk Island off the coast of Australia is one of the few places in the world outside the United States that celebrates an American Thanksgiving. Being the world of TF2 and populated by Australians, they of course do things a big differently.
After a horrible storm, a group of sailors and peasants washed up on the shore of Norfolk Island. With food supplies limited, they kept to the usual Australian ways of survival of the fittest. Grabbing shanks of meat along shipwreck debris, sticks, or other peoples limbs, the survivors beat the ever loving crap out of each other to determine who was worthy of getting to eat the meat they where hitting each other with. This was the first Shanksgiving and is a tradition re-enacted each year. This year, the locals hired RED and BLU to aid with the re-enactment and things have understandably gotten a bit out of hand.
So grab your Ham Shank or whatever you can find nearby and start laying the smack down. After all, it's tradition!
