It's alpha 3 time!
A lot of the feedback from the last version that I got said that this map was overscaled - as such, some of the geometry has been adjusted so that some spaces aren't as open as they once were. I'm trying to think of other ways to down-scale the map without having to make massive cuts. If anyone wants to help me with that endeavor, please let me know ASAP.
Here's the full changelog:
- Adjusted existing/added new geometry and clipping to try and mitigate more powerful sightlines
- Pushed back the "tunnel" route to B
- Added an additional room to the left side of A
- Enclosed the right side route to the battlements
- Removed the sliding door from the battlements
- Tweaked Red's spawn room to make it less open/big
- Added a few additional health and ammo packs
- Removed most roof geometry from A (temporary aesthetic change)
- Added additional props (aesthetic change)
- Scaled down most textures (aesthetic change)
I really want to try and make the ship, aka the location of stage 2 - however, I'm not all that good with complex brush work, let alone trying to make an entire stage out of said brush work. If anyone wants to help me with
that endeavor, please let me know ASAP.
